1. We should count it all joy that our faith is about to prove itself.

Trials create a situation where we can receive power and strength that comes from the grace of God.  We learn that we are no push overs. When we develop endurance the trial is no longer necessary.

2. The process must produce.

There is a point when we must become. We need "gangsta" faith that will hold us down even in dire circumstances.

3. God expects us to pass the test.

Adversity is our teacher. He who passes the test receives the promise. The things that identify us as someone who loves God.

4. We must do what we hear.

If the word of God has not transformed you, you are wasting your time. If we forget who we are, we forget who He is.
